Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens
Wear comfortable walking shoes and come join us at The Huntington! Encompassing some 130 acres, the Botanical Gardens of The Huntington feature living collections in 16 stunningly themed gardens with more than 83,000 living plants, including rare and endangered species, and a laboratory for botanical conservation and research.
Gardens include Japanese, Chinese, Desert, Rose, Shakespearean, Australian, Camellia, Palm, Ranch, Subtropical, Childrens’, Conservatory, Sculpture, Herb, and Jungle gardens. Also on the grounds is the world famous art museum and library.
Ticket reservations are not required, but strongly recommended since the number of guests admitted each day is limited.

Earth Day
There are two opportunities to celebrate Earth Day this year, Saturday, April 20, at the Discovery Center, and Friday, April 26, at Big Bear Lake DWP. We’ll be handing out seed packets, coloring books and crayons. There will be a workshop to make seed bombs too! Come learn more about the A Garden Club of Big Bear Valley!

Gubler Orchids Tour
The Gubler family has loved and grown orchids for four generations. We will be having a guided tour of the orchid greenhouses where we will gather at 10:00am and divide up into groups of 10. You must wear closed-toe shoes. The cost is $5 per person. For more information, visit: Gublers.com

This tour is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm, and extends a rare invitation to the public to stroll behind the garden gates of some of La Jolla’s loveliest secluded gardens. There are several ways you can enjoy this tour: a guided bus tour of the gardens, a Secret Garden Party on Friday, or just a self-guided tour on your own.

Riverside Flower Show & Garden Tour
This is the 75th anniversary Diamond Jubilee, Festival of Flowers. At the flower show they will have floral displays along with handcrafts, plants and garden art for sale. The garden tour consists of 9 beautiful gardens within Riverside and the greater Riverside area. The tour will be self-guided to allow for attendees to start and end at any of the gardens they wish.
